The Abyss shook as Aether felt the pain of the eradicating blast of qi from Bai Xue. The pillar of light extended to the non-existent skies and beyond.

"AAAAAAAAHHHH! GET AWAY FROM ME! YOU VILE WRETCH!"

A powerful blast of energy exploded from Aether's body. The powerful blast of vile malicious energy landed on Bai Xue. This energy was deemed as Abyssal Qi and sometimes Death Qi was powerful. Like a tsunami that could swallow an entire world.

The giant beast that was Bai Xue was swallowed whole. Disappearing from his sight. Almost immediately, Aether tried to gain distance, to regain himself to prepare his fight against the two incarnations of the progenitor of reality.

He surveyed his surroundings, awaiting Wang Ling's interference, [That bastard is as cunning as he's strong. He's not below sneaking up on me and—what the?]

But Wang Ling did not move; he remained standing hundreds of meters away. Watching from afar, observing…no he was doing something else. Not even caring for Aether, [He abandoned the fight?]

He was well aware of Bai Xue's strength. When Wang Ling killed himself and took Aether with him, only Xue remained. He expected her to become strong. But, at this moment, inside the Abyss, with her qi still suppressed, she was tearing through his power like she was playing with a mere cultivator.

Before the man who destroyed the world was the Grand Majesty of the beast lying low.

She had been waiting, gathering her strength to regain the former glory her previous incarnation possessed. "ACK! Let me go!"

Grabbing Aether by the face, Bai Xue dragged him to the ground.

 He bounced on the cold hard floor like it was made of rubber. Aether tried to recover, but before he could even reassess the flow of his qi, Bai Xue grabbed his leg.

"GIVE ME BACK MY DAUGHTER!" BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!

Aether was smashed on the ground like a ragdoll being played with. Coughing up purple blood, Aether felt a shockwave all over his body.

He was thrown up into the air and as he looked down. All he saw was the tip of the nine tails gathered and pointed in the middle of Bai Xue's mouth. The Qi within her finished its circulation even before Aether could think of a way to counter attack.

"Fucking… monsters the both of you."

His words left his mouth and the unobstructed power of Bai Xue was unleashed, shaking the foundation of the Abyss. Wang Ling watched from a distance. The radiating light from Bai Xue's light was terrifying even for him who was supposed to be her counterpart.

[...I can't make her angry. At least not until I completely mastered this power] at least five kilometers away was Wang Ling contemplating on how he should master the gift he was given.
