Novel Bin Chapter 14 14: Gale Wolf - Alpha!
His teeth grit behind the steel helmet. This level two wolf forced him to charge his flames four times. He endured the pain of using his own health to cast the last one.
β|Zell: 'Use your howl the moment the Blitzen charge goes off! I trust your timing, my lovely, noble wolf!'
A black gauntlet pointed towards the wolves as four of them shot towards him with drooling mouths that seemed to smile at him faintly.
Suddenly, four dark purple flames burst from the gemstone of his gauntlet and twirled around his wrist, forming oval balls before they flattened into thin spikes.
"Now! Charge them Griselda!"
Immediately after his shout, the purple flames shot out as if fired by a cannon. Their narrow shape caused their speeds to explode, swiftly shooting through two of the charging wolf's eyes with a nasty popping sound followed by a loud yelp.
He knew that eyes, genitals and other soft limbs counted as guaranteed critical hits!

He raised the claymore over his head as the other wolves shot forward. Only for the black and white noble wolf quickly leaping into their circle as thunder crackled around her body and formed a small dome around her body, then exploded!

Before the wolves could scurry towards her, she howled from deep within her body. It reverberated in the forest and almost deafened the poor males.
Her back legs tightened as she dashed back towards Zell, whose sword swung down at the wolf less than an inch from his face. Unable to dodge, this blade would cleave it in two from head to ass. The moment their stun ended, the blade sliced through the poor wolf.

Suddenly, red petals of blood flowed through the air, his black sword cutting the wolf down like a wedding cake. Both sides shot past him before its insides flopped out onto the forest floor.

A burst of power suddenly filled Zell's body.
It healed his past wounds, caused his chest to bulk out and tighten. He felt his strength, speed and vitality soar before he noticed the wolfs rapid approach.
He quickly pushed the sword across his body. Two gale wolves shot towards him before he struck the third one down after their stun wore off.
The Alpha stood back as they attacked. He noticed two of them vanished somewhere
β|Zell: 'Griselda, how are you doing? Can you counter them from the flank?'
"Waaun!" (My lord! I feel energised and full of strength, watch my wonderful strike!)
Two bursts of sparks flickered around his claymore as the two wolves smashed into him. He didn't take any damage thanks to the defence bonus from his level, but that was only because he blocked.
Should a monster attack a place he didn't wear armour, it would calculate the damage as him having half his normal defence value.
Griselda didn't waste any time as she saw her master block the two sharp claws that ripped through the air, slamming his blade's tip into the ground and anchoring him on the spot.
β Glafiren! (Griselda) + 2 Strength, + 8 damage to attack rolls and haste!
Her claws gleamed with a fierce light as white flames exploded and made the tips of them glow. Like a bright torch used to solder metals. She sank deeper into the ground with each step before leaping into the unprepared wolves, slashing the first wolf as it pushed against Zell, trying to claw and bite at his arms.

Zell saw the second wolf ripped in half at its waist from the powerful claws of Griselda. Then noticed two wolves chasing behind her. They would soon leap through the air and attack her rear, which would cause her defence to be reduced!
β|Zell: 'Oh no you don't sneaky fuckers! That's my cute dog!'
His black gauntlet grasped the face of Gale Wolf F, the grip so tight it cracked some of the wolfs teeth. He didn't care about exp or anything. The muscles of his left arm tightened as he used his enormous strength to lift the wolf up, pulling his arm back, and tossed the wolf at the two wolves behind Griselda the moment before they bit into her body.
Zell dropped the claymore and yanked Griselda to safety, catching the falling blade with his left hand as h he watched the Gale wolf have its own pack mates tear him apart.
However, he made a mistake. In his haste to save Griselda, the Alpha left his sight for a mere moment.
Suddenly, an enormous claw slammed into his body and sent him shooting into the tree, with a massive bang as the trunk snapped from the impact and blood shot out from his lips, staining the inside of his helmet.
It hurt Zell badly as blood trickled down his right arm onto the black claymore, staining it red. His demonic dragon on the hilt roared in anger as its eyes turned red.
Briefly, a powerful heartbeat sounded.
